The word "developed country" is often associated with North America, Europe and some of Asia while "developing country" tends to refer to Africa and Latin America. Perception has changed over the years of what a "developing country" really is, to some, this means people live in trees and lack technology. There's a need to change this perception and close the development gap that currently plagues our world.
